Master's Programs

Biomedical Imaging

The Master of Science in Biomedical Imaging Program is designed to provide STEM bachelor’s degree recipients with a comprehensive introduction to the physics, mathematics, radiochemistry, and engineering principles and methods that underly each of the major imaging modalities currently in use in clinical radiology and pathology.  The Program is highly interdisciplinary and includes faculty members with expertise in physics, radiology, engineering, mathematics, radiochemistry, and pathology.  Nearly all courses will be developed by faculty specifically for the Program.

Clinical & Translational Investigation

Multidisciplinary training program primarily for practicing health care professionals who hold medical degrees or are in professions or training programs focused on clinical research.

Clinical Epidemiology & Health Services Research

Designed for those who wish to plan, implement and analyze quantitative and qualitative research studies using appropriate research designs.

Computational Biology

The M.S. in Computational Biology is a rigorous, 18-months program, equipping students with theoretical understanding of the quantitative methods underlying modern biomedical science as well as with practical mastery of state-of-the-art applications of computational approaches in biology and medicine. With in-depth training and curricular career development workshops, the program prepares its graduates to launch successful careers in areas such as bioinformatics, data analytics, and computer modeling.

 

Executive MBA/MS in Healthcare Leadership

The Executive MBA/MS in Healthcare Policy and Research is a dual degree program that prepares the next generation of healthcare delivery leaders for success in a rapidly changing environment. Students are provided with the skills necessary to lead organizations that design and implement new models of care with a focus on healthcare leadership, receiving their degrees within two years.

Genetic Counseling

A Master of Science in Genetic Counseling is being proposed that will provide a highly interdisciplinary program by nature. Its core courses will be tailored specifically to ensure students develop the core competencies of genetic counseling, such that, e.g., a bioinformatics course focuses specifically on issues pertaining to human disease and draws example from clinical genetics. The new Program will aim to obtain accreditation by the American Board of Genetic Counselors and will emphasize translational learning models, allowing students to apply concepts taught during didactic lectures to clinical rotations.

Health Sciences for Physician Assistants

The Weill Cornell Graduate School Master of Science in Health Sciences for Physician Assistants (MSHS PA) program is a twenty-six month course of study to educate students to become Physician Assistants. The program begins in early March each year and is comprised of two phases of study: a classroom intensive pre-clinical phase and a clinical phase.

Population Health Sciences

Our programs prepare students for careers in healthcare delivery, public health, health policy, health insurance, technology development, consulting, academics, and more. Throughout the course of our programs, our students experience a wide variety of hands-on training in key skills and knowledge sought by employers — including analytics, economics, policy, decision science, and implementation science.
